Helen L. Herman

Helen L. Herman, 87, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family on July 12, 2015. She was born in Massillon on September 19, 1927 to the late Henry and Grace Dunbar. Helen was a former, Boy Scout Den Mother, Foster Parent, and enjoyed flower gardening and even won blue ribbons at the Stark County Fair for her work. She and her husband Boz owned and operated Herman's Tavern and Grocery Store. She is survived by her children, James Herman of Jackson Twp. and Susan (Grant Ditch) Green of Jackson Twp.; four grandchildren, Annette, Lisa, Lee and Benjamin; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; a sister, Evelyn; and her parrot, Pepper. Helen is also preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin "Boz" Herman; and two sons, Dennis Herman and Thomas Herman. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 12:30 PM – 1:30PM, funeral services will follow at1:30PM.
