Helen "Dumpy" Ramsey

Helen “Dumpy” Brown Ramsey, 88, passed away on July 20, 2018, following an extended illness. She was born in Massillon on July 11, 1930 to the late Wilbur J. and Nellie (Rohn) Brown, Sr. She was a graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1949. Helen was dedicated to her family. Helen is survived by her children, Mark R. (Gena) Ramsey, Sr. and Michael (Lori) Ramsey; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jonathan) Blood, Mark Ramsey, Jr., Dawn (John) Umberger, Krystal (Chris) Perry, Michael (Olivia) Ramsey and Joanne (Mikel ) Dillon; and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Russell R. Ramsey; two brothers, Wilbur J. (Eileen) Brown, Jr and James (Norma) Brown; and two sisters, Mary (Joe) Krempel and Margery Brown. Friends may call on Monday July 23, 2018 from 6pm-8pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home and from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 with a funeral service at 1pm, Rev. Robert Groenke, Jr, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
