Helen DiLoreto, 96, passed away on January 1, 2021, following an extended illness. She was born in Uhrichsville, Ohio on October 11, 1924. Helen was the Head Cook at Washington High School for many years. She loved camping, boating, and fishing at Tappan Lake, music, singing and spending time with her grandchildren. Her life was dedicated to her family. She is survived by her children, J.J. (Lee) DiLoreto, Susan (Mike) Hutkowski and Sharon (Marvin) Songer; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Ford. Helen was preceded in death by her father, George Steve; mother, Emma Thompson, husband, James DiLoreto; and sisters, Martha Roup and Mary Mayberry. A Private Family Chapel Service will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Massillon on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, Fr. Raymond Paul, officiating. There will be no calling hours due to the ongoing pandemic.
