Hazel E. Dipple

Hazel E. Dipple, age 101 of Massillon, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Meadow Wind Nursing Home following a period of declining health. She was born on March 15, 1913 in Bucks Township, Tuscarawas County and was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Deibel) Burcaw. Hazel was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple and was a practical nurse doing mostly home care. She was married to the late William Dipple, who passed away in 1972. Hazel loved and cared for her many pets and maintained a beautiful flower and vegetable garden over many years. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Essie Sinclair, Mabel McGee, Ruby McPherson, Cora Burcaw and Grace Arnold and five brothers, George Burcaw, Lorenzo Burcaw, Archie Burcaw, Charles Burcaw and Wilbert Burcaw. Hazel is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE, Massillon, Ohio with Pastor Cecil Thayer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Fiat Cemetery Tuscarawas County.
