Hartzell Lee Ball

Hartzell Lee Ball, 70 of Perry Township, passed away on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Lee was born on January 9, 1948 in West Hamlin, WV the son of the late Herbert and Myrl (Adkins) Ball. Lee graduated from Washington High School in 1966. He worked as a fork lift mechanic for both the Teledyne Monarch Rubber Co. for 22 years and Industrial Parts & Service Co. retiring after 18 years of service. He was an avid amateur bowler and is a member of the Greater Canton Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Lee’s passion was restoring cars, and attending car shows. He was also a youth baseball coach and bowling coach. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his infant sister, Shirley Rose and his brother, Carlos Ball. He is survived by his sons, Brian (Carla) Ball and Brad (Jennifer) Ball; grandchildren, Branden, Jessica, Nicholas, Brycen and Ethan; sister, Donna Hibbitts; brothers, Randy (Donna) Ball and Herbert Ball; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Lee’s life will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home.
