Harry H. Mcelhaney

Harry H. McElhaney age 87 of Massillon, passed away Monday at Meadow Wind Health Care Center. He was born on March 8, 1920 in New Castle, PA to the late Elmer and Inez (Harper) McElhaney and lived most of his life in the Massillon area. Harry retired in 1984 from Operator Engineers following 50 years of service as a crane operator. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Lois R. McElhaney who passed away October 12, 2002; brothers, Bert, Raymond, John, Roy, Joseph, Elmer McElhaney and Robert Teller; sisters, Mary Teller, Alberta Pagenkopf, Genevive Gallitan and Dorothy Lightfoot. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Harry will be held Thursday at 1:30 PM at Brookfield Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
