Harriett "Sue" Adams – Stradwick, 79 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Sue was born on April 28, 1937 in Massillon the daughter of the late Robert Adams and Ruth Young. She was a lifelong resident of Massillon. Sue worked as home health aide for both private practices and Doctor's Hospital. Sue loved going to the True Church House of Prayer to All Nations where she enjoyed singing. Sue was a member of the Rose of Sharon gospel choir. She also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell "Johnny Dolla" Stradwick, her son, Samuel Lee Williams, Jr., her granddaughter, Tommica Sue Longshore and her sisters, Mary K. Adams and Joan Ruth Trammell. She is survived by her children, Harriet Lynette Longshore, Darick Bradford (Robbin) Adams, and Jeffrey Craig Williams; a host of grandchildren & great grandchildren; her sister, Gwendolyn Adams – Sims; her only surviving aunt, Mary K. Pringle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Home Going Celebration will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 12 p.m. at the True Church House of Prayer to All Nations in Massillon. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 11 – 12 p.m. before the service. Paquelet Funeral Home & Crematory (330) 833-3222
