Gwen L. Limbach

Gwen L. Limbach, age 62 of Massillon passed away April 28, 2016 with her family at her side. She was born July 9, 1953 in Canton to the late William Lee and Alice (Hursh) Smith. She was a 1972 graduate of Tuslaw High School. Gwen leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 42 years Mark S. Limbach, their children: Dustin (Iva) Limbach and Daniel (Sarah) Limbach and her granddaughters she adored: Sydnie, Ashton, Sofia and Kaelin. Gwen has two brothers and a sister: Cindy (Don) McCrae, William Smith and Tim (Jon) Smith Bridges, and a host of relatives and friends. She enjoyed many years camping and fishing at Leesville Lake, especially catching largemouth bass. Now she joins our friends at that big campground in the sky. She was a nurse for Doctors Hospital for many years and was still working as an offsite billing coordinator for hospital emergency departments. Gwen was always very family oriented and loving as a wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. A Memorial gathering will be Wednesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home from 4 to 6 PM. A service with Rev. Brian Suntken will follow. Her final resting place will be Brookfield Cemetery. The family would like to recognize all the staff at Affinity and Mercy Hospitals for their excellent care. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
