Grady Lee Robinson, Jr., 60, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 12, 2024. Grady was born on October 8, 1963 in Spokane, Washington the son of Grady Sr. and Mary Robinson.

Grady was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1982 graduate of Washington High School. While at Washington High School he was a standout Defensive Back for the Tigers #25. He graduated from North Iowa Area Community College where he also played football. Grady was an avid weight lifter as well. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Grady worked for AEP for 27 years until his retirement in 2022. He was a great cook and he loved music, especially Jazz. He stayed very physically fit.

He is survived by his children, Tasha (Derrick) Hoover, Catrina Robinson, Grady L. Robinson, III, and Ashton Robinson; father, Grady L. Robinson, Sr; grandchildren, Anthony Hoover, Vincent Hoover, Jaylah Pettis, Riley Herrod, and Solomon Robinson; siblings, Tami A. Guyton, Traci L. Robinson-Bell, Daryl L. Robinson, Mia L. Williams, and Kelly A. Williams; special cousins, Punchy, Lamont, and Midloskia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was formerly married to Donna A. Webb-Robinson for 12 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary L. Robinson, and his sister, Rachel Monroe.

According to his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Grady's life will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 6:30 pm at The Massillon Event Center: 48 2nd Street SE, Massillon, OH 44646.
