Grace Specht

Grace Specht age 96 of Beach City passed away on Sunday, August 14 2016 She was born Feb 24, 1920 to Hans (John) and Veronica Stotzer She married the late Warren E Specht on June 27, 1942. They celebrated 62 years of marriage before his death in 2004 Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her sisters:Martha Leeman, Mary Kilchenmann, Clara Vogt, Ida Pepper Shaffer and Freida Lieser and brothers: John, Robert and Fritz Stotzer and her great-grandson Sean Rees. She is survived by her children:Grace Veronica (Lloyd deceased) Ault, Connie (David) Turner, Brian (Shari) Specht all of Massillon, Cathie (Frank) Fontana of Stamford, Connecticut, Warren K Specht of Strasburg, Gregory (Barbara) Specht of Navarre, and Kenneth M Specht of Beach City 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. Sisters: Ruth Breniser and Helen (LV) Kollar of Dover and Brother Walter (Gladys) Stotzer of Mineral City. Grace was a member of the Beach City United Methodist Church and the Canton Swiss Club. She enjoyed baking, sewing and working her daily puzzles. Her greatest joy was taking care of and spending time with her family. A private memorial service for the family and relatives will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beach City United Methodist Church.
