Grace P. Brown

Grace P. Brown, 97 of Massillon, passed away on early Sunday morning January 27, 2013 at Hanover House, following a brief illness. She was born in Massillon on September 29, 1915 to the late Albert & Clara (Schneider) Fischer. Grace was a member of Faith Community Fellowship Church, Massillon and was a former member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Massillon where she was a member of the Mary Alta Sunday School Class. She was also very active in the choir. She worked in retail sales for many years and enjoyed meeting people. She is survived by her two sons, Joal (Madeline) Brown of Clawson, MI, William (Cheryle) Brown of Massillon, six grandchildren, David Brown, Steve (Trudy) Brown, Nancy (Ron) Kuzdak, Suzanne Brown, Carmella Binder, Valerie (Donald) Reiter, and nine great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Benjamin, Camden, Cole, Jakob, Kloey, Nicholas, Mitchell and Noah. In addition to her parents, Grace was also preceded in death by her husband, John H. Brown, Jr. , whom she married on April 21, 1937 and her brother, William Fischer. Friends may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral services will be held at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 11:30AM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
