Grace Marie Steinberg – Fender, 94, passed away on February 3, 2019 following a brief illness. She was born in Kansas City, MO on August 23, 1924 to the late Clyde and Neva (Cash) Smith. Grace was a member of First Christian Church. During WWII she worked as a Riveter for Boeing Aircraft and after the war, worked for Jean Frocks, Henley’s Fabrics and The Salvation Army Thrift Store. She was professionally trained in Lady’s Millinery Arts (Hat Making). She loved to fish, cook, sew, read and do crossword puzzles, she was dedicated to her family. She is survived by her children, Robert Steinberg, William Steinberg and Karen Sue Steinberg all of the Massillon area and Sherry (John) Steinberg- Woods of Washington; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Grace was preceded in death by her husbands, William Steinberg, Jr. and Paul Fender; brothers, Robert Lee and Howard Smith and a sister, Mazel Elder. A private gathering will be held at a later date.
