Grace E. Kreiger

Grace E. Kreiger, age 82 of Massillon, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Southwest General Hospital in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Grace was born on July 30, 1927 in Navarre, Ohio and was the daughter of the late John and Bessie (Roush) Sterner. She was a Massillon resident for most of her life, but lived in Berea, Ohio from 1963 through 1993 and for the past several years. She graduated from Wooster Business School and worked for Republic Steel for 13 years and M.K. Ferguson in Cleveland for 14 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, former Cuyahoga County Sheriff, Ralph E. Kreiger, numerous brothers and sisters and her granddaughter Heidi Kulisek. She is survived by her sons Kris (Antoinette) Kreiger and Fred (Lisa) Kreiger, her daughter Amy Kreiger her stepchildren, Laurel Kulisek, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and her brother John Sterner. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Oster officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. 1100 Wales Road NE, Massillon, Ohio and at the church, one hour before the service.
