Grace C. Mcconnell

Grace C. McConnell age 94 of Massillon passed away Monday December 6, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center. Grace was born August 1, 1916 in Butler, PA to the late John & Mabel Briner and lived most of her life in Massillon. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and the Alter Rosary Society. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harry J. McConnell (1985) and her son George J. McConnell (1987). Grace is survived by three daughters, sons in law and a daughter in law: Jan & Jim Bittner of Massillon, Rose Marie & Steven Orfanedes of Arlington Heights, IL, Barbara & William Webb of Australia and Donna McConnell of Vista, CA. In addition there are twelve grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the Mass at the church.
