Goldie Andrews

Goldie Andrews age 82 of Massillon passed away Sunday November 14, 2010. She was born October 10, 1928 in Apideona, Greece to the late Peter and Maria Plomaritis. Goldie was a homemaker. Goldie was a very active member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Massillon and her love of the church was well known by everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beautiful daughter Linda, whom she adored, as well as two brothers, Harry and Tony Plomaritis. She is survived by her former husband, Thomas K. Andrews, three sons, Gust Andrews, Pete Andrews and Tom Andrews, Jr., and his wife Pam and two grandchildren, Tom Andrews and Rachel Andrews; four sisters, Eveguenia Skondras and Zografia Antoniades of Greece, Athanasia Mouzakis of Australia and Florence Boekel of Lousiville, Ohio as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends, but her spirit will live on in all those who knew her forever. Funeral Service will be Noon Thursday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Massillon, Fr Yanni Verginis will officiate. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Garden. Friends may call 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. A Trisagion Service will be 7:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
