Gloria J. Krichbaum

Gloria J. Krichbaum, 86 of Massillon, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Gloria was born in Massillon, on September 19, 1931 the daughter of the late Warren and Margaret (Lemmon) Eckroad. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1949 graduate of Paint Township High School in Mt. Eaton. Gloria enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and dogs, watching Massillon Tigers Football and the Cleveland Cavaliers. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Warren Eckroad, Jr. She is survived by her husband, James L. Krichbaum, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage; sons and their spouses, Mitchell (Angela) Krichbaum and Brian (Julie) Krichbaum; grandchildren, Aaron, Sam, Ben, Keith, and Kaylee; sisters, Betty (Leroy) Schumacher and Karen (James) Hamilton; and sisters-in-law, JoAnn Eckroad and Donna Cutcher. A Celebration of Gloria’s Life will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Interment will follow at East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
