Gloria J. Holman

Gloria J. Holman, age 66, of Massillon, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 after a valiant and courageous 26 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born in Massillon on September 12, 1954 to the late John and Mary (Paolucci) Murray. Gloria was a 1972 graduate of Central Catholic High School. Gloria was a homemaker and most important in her life were her children and family. She was a teachers aide at St. Barbara Catholic School. Gloria enjoyed, cooking, sewing , baking, gardening and creative writing. Music and Lyrics were a lifelong passion of Gloria’s and she was at her best and brightest when singing. She will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Matthew, Zachary, Adam and Sada Holman; her grandchildren Jesse, Hannah and Star; her great granddaughter Saleah; her sisters Sheila (Ellis) Torre, Cindy (Derrell)Haley, Kate (Jim) Warren, Bridget (Ross) Belloni; her brothers Tom (Brenda) Murray, Sean (Tonnya) Murray, Mike (Cheryl) Murray and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Bill Murray. Please join us for a Celebration of Life for Gloria. Every day is a new day to choose joy, despite sorrow. To that end, we have planned a celebration of life to share all the joy of Gloria's life. We have much to be thankful for and plan to be together on Saturday, September 11, 2021, 1-4 pm at Oak Knoll Park enclosed pavilion, 6th St SW Massillon to give thanks for her.
