Gloria A. Stephanic

Gloria A. Stephanic, age 80 of Massillon, passed away January 20, 2010 at Aultman Hospital. She was born on December 22, 1929 in Canton the daughter of the late Alfred and Ann Baird. She enjoyed gardening, boating on the Ohio River in summer and spending winters traveling Florida by motorhome. Gloria loved her family and friends and always welcomed others into her life. She will always be remembered as someone full of life and love. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Mark Stephanic in 2006. She is survived by her loving husband, Gale E. Stephanic, whom she married on November 26th, 1949 and recently celebrated 60 years of marriage; her children and their spouses, Brenda & Steve Pachan of Canton, Lanette & Frank Ginese of Strongsville and Bruce & Tammy Stephanic of Dublin, OH; her grandchildren, Chris, Mike, Steve, Adelena, Antonio, Lauren and AnnMarie. A Celebration of Gloria’s Life will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon at 3:00 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1- 3 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Aultman Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
