Glenn D. Miller

Glenn D. Miller, age 68 of Massillon, died on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on August 16, 1940 in Sugar Creek, Ohio and was the son of the late Sylvenus and Evelyn (Plant) Miller. He was a Massillon resident for most of his life. He was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Herman and the Loyal Order of the Moose # 481. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard G. Miller in 2006. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn M. (Faber) Miller, whom he married on April 12, 1958, his granddaughters, Kelly (Dan) Hardesty of Massillon and Krista (Michael) Goldie of Perry Township, his great grandchildren, Christopher, Tyler, Kylee, Alicia, Samantha and Olivia, his brothers, Erven (Edie) Miller of Killbuck, OH and Raymond (Emelyn) Miller of Hawaii and his sisters, Ruth Prather of Orrville, OH and Debra Spangler of Columbus, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Pastor John Stallings officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday (TONIGHT) from 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday one hour before the service. Memorials may be made in his name to the Sons and Daughters of Herman.
