Glenn A. Mizer

Glenn A. Mizer, age 89 of Perry Twp., passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on April 23, 1920 in Canton the son of the late Otis and Mamie Mizer. Glenn was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WWII. He worked as a foreman for Ford Motor Co. in Canton and retired after 30 years. Glenn was a drummer with various groups. He loved music and traveling. He and his wife wintered in Arizona and Florida. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Analee Mizer in 2005, his son-in-law, Chick Logan in 2003 and his brother Raymond and his sister Pat. He is survived by his step-daughter, Janet Logan; his grandchildren, Chick, Joe (Jeanette), Nick (Amy) Logan all of Massillon; great-grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Bajornas, Joe, Jessica, Jarret, Casey, Mitchell, Savannah and Anthony. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 PM at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
