Glendon Glen E. Biehl, age 72, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon at his residence. Glen was born in Newman on March 3, 1933 to the late Clarence and Myrtle (Gainey) Biehl. He retired from Corundite Refractories in July 1998 following 45 years of service as a Kiln Operator. Glen was a United States Army Veteran and served in Germany for a year and a half. He was a member of the Sons of Herman and Newman Baptist Church. Glen enjoyed traveling, camping and the Cleveland Indians. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: Son, Steven Biehl on Feb. 22, 2003, sister Elinor Biehl and a brother Vernon Biehl. He is survived by his wife with whom he celebrated 48 years of marriage on July 20, 2005, Peggy A. (Baker) Biehl; son and daughter-in-law Scott and Linda Biehl of Navarre, Daughters and son-in-law Valerie Biehl of Massillon and Sondra and Rex Collins of Navarre, grandchildren; Christopher Biehl, Tyler Eaves, Corey and Britany Collins. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday at Newman Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis McDonald officiating. Interment will follow the services at Newman Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Newman Baptist Church Deacons Fund.
