Glen A. Mohler, 91, of Massillon passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at his residence. Glen was born on August 25, 1922 in Doylestown, Ohio the son of Harry and Clara (Plant) Mohler. Glen graduated from Rittman High School. He served in the Navy Air Corps during WWII, where he was stationed in the South Pacific. He retired in May 2012 as the owner of Advanced Hearing Aid after 60 years. Glen was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Stark Gun Collectors, National Knife Collectors Association, Central Kentucky Knife Collectors, American Legion Post #221 and V.F.W. Post # 3124. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed gardening. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Clifford Mohler and his sister Eunice Culley. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Kathy (Singer) Mohler whom he married on April 30, 1994; his children, Tim (Bev) Mohler of North Canton and Vicki Hodges of Scottsdale, AZ; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, with Rev. Dennis Engler officiating. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman. Family will receive friends at the funeral on Thursday from 10-11 A.M. before the service.
