Gladys M. Boyd

Gladys M. (Reich) Boyd, age 92 of Canton, passed away, Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Meadow Wind Health Care Center. She was born on November 23, 1915 in Woodsfield, Ohio and was the daughter of the late William and Lena (Seigel) Reich. She was an area resident for more than 60 years. Gladys was a member of Richville United Church of Christ and the Women’s Group at the church. She also belonged to the Perry Grange and A.A.R.P. She enjoyed painting, ceramics and gardening. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold N. Boyd and her son in law Orland “Carl” Murphy. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Richard and Ginger Boyd of Canton, OH, her daughter, Delores “Dee” Murphy of Richville, OH, her sister and brother in law, Eunice and Frank Greene of Massillon, her brother Clarence Reich of Jerusalem, OH, 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Private services will take place on Wednesday with burial in Woodsfield Cemetery in Woodsfield, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Tuesday (TONIGHT) from 6-8 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home.
