Gillea M. Mossop

Gillea M. Mossop, age 85 of Massillon, passed away at Akron Children’s Hospital following injuries she sustained from a fire. She was born in Massillon on December 2, 1924 and was the daughter of the late John J. and Ollie (Wood) Miller. Gillea was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and was a longtime volunteer with the American Red Cross. She was an avid bowler Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Mossop. She leaves behind many cherished friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1:00 P.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch with Rev. Lisa Boulton officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery.
