Gesus ‘Su’ Vicente age 75 of Jackson Twp. passed away Thursday October 6, 2005 at Massillon Community Hospital. He was born October 3, 1930 to the late Rafael & Carmela (Encinas) Vicente. Su was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School and then served in the Army. He retired from SKF Industries (Tyson Bearing) after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Spanish-American Club in Canton, K of C #554, and the Holy Name Society at St. Joseph Church. He was a lifelong fan of baseball and softball. He played as an adult in leagues both here and Florida, coached Jackson Twp. Little League and managed St. Joseph’s Softball team. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Lauriana and brothers Manuel, Frank & Peter. He is survived by: Wife Florence (Specogna) Vicente with whom shared shared 49 years of marriage on April 21st. Raymond Paul will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call 2-5 PM Sunday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
