Gertrude M. Rowe

Gertrude M. "Trudy" Rowe, age 84 of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at her home. She was born on February 12, 1929 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Paul and Dora (Foster) Manson. Trudy was a graduate of Washington High School and went on to work for the Massillon City Schools in the cafeteria. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Rowe, Sr. and her brother Laird Manson. She is survived by her children, Debbie Seifert and James E. Rowe, Jr., her granddaughter, Danielle (Justin) Curtis, her sister, Leota Williams, her brothers, Paul (Christine) Manson and Ken (Jan) Manson and her goddaughter, Glynna Nave. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with her pastor, Chip Belanga officiating. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. and on Thursday at the church one hour before the service.
