Gerri A. Null

Gerri Null, age 68, a resident of Jackson Township, passed away at home on Saturday, October 27, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Canton on May 25, 1944 to the late Glenn and Marjorie(New) Zerby. She was a 1962 graduate of Perry High School. She married Larry N. Null on September 07, 1962 and he survives. Gerri worked as a sales assistant for W.R. Rose Company for many years until her retirement. One of Gerri's great passions was the game of Golf. She was a member of Shady Hollow Country Club for many years and then at Glenmoor Country Club. She loved to travel and enjoyed spending time during the winter on Marco Island, Florida. Her greatest joy in life was her family but particularly her two grandchildren. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her husband, Gerri is survived by her daughter Kelly(Steven) Paulus; her grandchildren Kristen and Michael Paulus, her beloved dog Bernie, as well as her brother and sister laws, Robert and Joanne Null; brother-in law Terry Null; sister-in-law Keturah Null, and several nieces and nephews. Gerri was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Katherine Elizabeth Null; 2 brothers Ty and Vincent Zerby and brother-in-law Donald Null. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10 A.M. Father Edward Gretchko, officiating. In accordance with Gerri's wishes there will be no visitation. Burial will follow the Mass at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in Gerri's memory to the American Heart Association – www.heart.org.
