Geri (Geraline L.Clark) Berbari, age 88 of Massillon, died on July 22, 2013. She was born in Lafferty, to the Late Ray and Lela Marie (Hinkle) Clark on October 7, 1924. Geri spent most of her younger years at the Ohio Soldiers & Sailors Orphans Home in Xenia. From the age of eleven she lived with her Grandmother Clark in New Philadelphia. She graduated from New Philadelphia High School, where she played on the girl's basketball team. She moved to the Massillon area in 1944. Geri was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a stay at home mother after her marriage to Tom. She enjoyed yard work, bowling and bingo. She demanded that the whole family be seated for dinner at 3:45 and not a minute later. Her family felt her love by the endless care and hard work put into everything she did for them. She leaves behind a daughter, Lori A. Stolte, three sons, Thomas N. Berbari Jr., Michael (Mara) Berbari and James Shafer all of Massillon, brother, Gerald R. Clark of Dover, sister, Cheri (Luch) Stearns of Barnesville, brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws, John (Mary) Berbari, George (Suzie) Berbari, Adele (Berbari) Moore all of Massillon, Rosemarie (Berbari) (Phil) George and Yvonne (Berbari) (Thomas) Jesser of Akron, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas N, Berbari, Sr.(2008), siblings, infant twins at birth, half sisters, Peggy (Blacker) Boles, Shirley Blacker, half brothers, Willard Blacker and Charles Luch, Jr. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 5:00PM-8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Raymond Paul at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Massillon on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 10:00AM. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
