Geraldine Rose Gardiner

Geraldine Rose Gardiner, 79, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022, in Canton, Ohio. Geraldine was born on August 27, 1942, in Clarksburg, West Virginia the daughter of the late Clarence and Hannah (Myers) Wadsworth. Geraldine was a parent leader and was very involved in the Boys Scouts of America. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She made many friends at the state hospital and created a lot of connections throughout her time spent there. She continued helping others even after her retirement. Geraldine loved animals and gardening. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Tyler Gardiner. She is survived by her children, Larry (Carrie) Gardiner, Bill Gardiner, Timothy C. Gardiner, Penny A Gardiner, and Dennis R Gardiner; grandchildren, Ashley Manzo, Nicole Gardiner, Julie Gardiner, Justin Gardiner, Nicholas Gardiner, Alan Gardiner, Casey Gardiner, Tabatha Gardiner, Holly Gardiner, and Rebecca Gardiner; and 6 great-grandchildren. There will be no services. Cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either, Trinity Gospel Church or the Cathedral of Life.
