Gerald R. Mcfee

Gerald R. McFee, age 89, of Massillon passed away September 1, 2014. He was born July 18, 1925 in Canton to the late Ernest & Helen (King) McFee. During WW II he served in the Navy in the Pacific. Bob retired from Central States Can as a security guard. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, VFW, American Legion, Ohio Country Music Asso., & Buckeye Country Music Asso. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife Gladys (2001), step-son Jack Schneider, two sisters, Beverly Tully and Betty Secrest, and three brothers, Jim, Jerry and Bill He is survived by two daughters, Darla Valentine and Diane (Dwight) Hartline; son, Duane McFee; brother, Ronnie (Pam) Smith. He has five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. The family would like to thank the staff at Crossroads Hospice of Green, Ohio for their compassion and care. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Friday at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Garden. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
