George Kresovich

George Kresovich, 86, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016, following a brief illness. He was born in Massillon on June 12, 1930 to the late Mike and Agnes (Cvijich) Kresovich. George served his country with the U.S. Army from 1951-1953. He was employed by Republic Steel for 38 years and retired from LTV Steel. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Sadie Penley, his brother Steve Kresovich and two siblings, Stella and Mark. He is survived by his wife, Alma (Young) Kresovich whom he married on February 20, 1954, his daughter, Lorrie (Tim) Paulus, his son George D. (Jeanie) Kresovich, his grandchildren, Emily (Justin) Roberts and Natalie (Sean) Hesford, great grandsons Maxwell and Andrew Roberts, his brother Michael (Joanne) Kresovich and his sisters, Darlene (Frank) Toth and Charlotte Kresovich. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Military honors will follow. There will be a viewing prior to the service from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested in George's name to the Massillon Salvation Army, 315-6th St. NE, Massillon, OH 44646. The family would like to give thanks to staffs at Mercy Hospice and Rose Lane Health Care Center for the wonderful care given to George during his last days.
