George I. Fink, age 74, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 5, 2012. He was born in Massillon on October 10, 1937 to the late Charles and Mary (McGinnis) Fink. He married Carolyn Dickinson on July 22, 1962 and she survives him. George was retired from B & C Machine Company after many years. George was a devoted family man and will be sorely missed by his countless friends. George had many past-times he was an avid card player, golfer, a die-hard Indians fan , watching old western movies and loved spending time talking to people. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Marcy (Daniel) Hanna, Michael (Jessica) Fink, Michelle (Georgie) Quillen, and Mary (David) Young; his sister Charlotte Mowers; 12 grandchildren, George, Cynthia, Brittany, Stephanie, Pamela, Kayla, Brandon, C.J., Katie, Chaz, Marisa, & Austin; 15 great grandchildren, Sha'Lyn, Gage, Dominic, Austin, T.J., Kaitlyn, Trevor, Brandon, Emily, Peyton, Kassidy, Jaron, Trenton, Carter, & Cora. A host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012, from 5 to 8 P.M at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon.
