George H. Snyder

George H. Snyder, 66, passed away on May 18, 2014 unexpectedly at Affinity Medical Center. He was born on July 20, 1947 in Massillon to the late George and Nora Snyder, Sr. George worked many years at the Halter Feeds and then worked at Food 4 Less until he retired in 2010. He was a member of the Army-Navy Club and the Croatian Club. He was known for his love of people. He was dedicated to his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his loving wife, Opal (Romans) Snyder, whom he married on December 24, 1968; special nephews, Charles Snyder and Rick Knight; numerous other nieces and nephew; and the whole Romans family. He is preceded in death by his four brothers, Chuck, Alvin and Clyde Knight and Richard Snyder; three sisters, Nancy and Ruth Ann Snyder and Mary Hudnall.
