George C. ‘Sam’ Drapeau

George C. ‘Sam’ Drapeau, age 87 of Massillon, passed away June 19, 2008. He was born on February 22, 1921 in Maine. Sam was Brother Simeon when he taught chemistry and physics at Walsh College. He retired as a lab tech at Mercy Medical Center. His wife, Mary R. Drapeau passed away in 2005 and a step-daughter, Debbie Ronk in 2002. His local survivors are William Richardson, Becky Osborne and two granddaughters, Nicole (Christopher) Miller and Simonne Ronk with whom he lived; nine step-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. His final resting place will be St. Clements Cemetery.
