George Bekich

George Bekich, age 86 of Canal Fulton passed away Monday December 04, 2017. He was born in Allegheny PA. on April 15, 1931 to the late Milan and Dorothy Bekich. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and loved nothing more than watching his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. George retired from Republic Steel in 1995 and enjoyed working for Barbato’s Flowers in his retirement years. George is survived by his wife Toni Bekich; his children George Bekich II and Dottie Beck (Bobby Greco); his grandchildren Jacob Beck and Nicollette (Brad) Echols and his sister Mary (Joe) Madar. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters and a brother. A celebration of George’s life will be held at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Thursday, December 07, 2017 at 11a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 06, 2017 from 6-8pm and 1 hour prior to the service.
