George B. King

George B. King, age 75 of Dalton, Ohio, died on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born on August 12, 1933 in Tallmadge, Ohio and was the son of the late Glen W. and Genevieve (Stockwell) King. George was a 1951 graduate of Rootstown High School. He retired from the United Association of Pipefitters Local 94. His memberships included the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 190, the Sons and Daughters of Herman and the V.F.W. Post 3124. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son David King. He is survived by his children, Jeffery (Renee) King of Lewisburg, TN, Scott King of Anderson, MO, Roxanne (David) Walker of Bridgeton, NJ and Danny King of Newport, NJ, all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren, his brother Glen M. King, his half brother Edwin (Donna), his half sisters Begee (Dick) and Cheryl (Bob), his stepmother Jean King and his longtime companion Velda Fogel. Services will take place on Wednesday at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road NE, Massillon, OH at 1:00 P.M. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday one hour before the service.
