Gary L. Kroah, age 85 died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 19, 2018. He is survived by his wife Rosanna (Naef) Kroah of 61 years, one brother Wayne and Pat Kroah; three children Rebecca and Gus Chuchanis, Diane and Eric Holdren and John and Vicki Kroah; 12 grandchildren, Connie, Mandy, Sarah, Morgan, Alexis, Jack, Olivia, Chase, Rae, Alec, Jaclyn and Augustus. He was a 1950 graduate of Lincoln High School and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a clarinetist, who enjoyed performing in the local community, an avid golfer and spent much of his time supporting his grandchildren in their various activities. We’d like to thank the Canton VA Clinic and staff, especially Jackie Suppan, N.P. Also a heartfelt thanks to his wonderful doctors, Leonard Tamburro, D.O. and Steven Hirsch, M.D. who in Dad’s eyes were more than just doctors, but best friends. Our dad was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by his family and all those fortunate to have known him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Massillon. Fr. Raymond Paul will officiate. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 4-7pm. at the Paquelet Funeral Home, Massillon.
