Gary L. Jarrell

Gary L. Jarrell, age 71 of Jackson Twp., passed away on June 24, 2019. He was born in Canton on March 17, 1948 to the late Donald and Gladys Jarrell. He was a 1966 graduate of Perry High School. He married Cathy Tietze on February 12, 1971 and they shared 48 years together. Gary served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked for 30 years at the Hoover Company as a Maintenance Electrical Foreman. He enjoyed Ham Radio, Traveling with his wife Cathy, and tinkering with electronics. He will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He leaves to cherish his wife Cathy; his children Karen (Mark) Kelly and Kurt Jarrell; his grandchildren Makayla Kelly, Kendra Jarrell, Zachary Jarrell and Kylar Kelly; his sister Cynthia Weaver; his faithful feline companion Teddy and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Gary’s life will be held on Monday, July 01, 2019 at 12 noon at the Paquelet Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10a.m. until the time of the service.
