Gary J. Wilson, age 74 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at his residence. Gary was born on December 17, 1936 in Massillon the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Mary (Agnes) Wilson. Gary was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a 1954 graduate of Washington High School. Gary was employed as a meat cutter at Agnes Provision in Beach City. Gary was a member of St. Barbara's Catholic Church and St. Barbara's Men's Club, Moose #481, Sons and Daughters of Herman, Eagles #190, American Legion, Amvets, VFW, also a 4th Degree Knight at the Knights of Columbus. A faithful follower of the Massillon Tigers, Gary was the 49th President of the Massillon Tiger's Booster Club, past president of Sideliners and he enjoyed being a sideliner to many football players over the years. He was also the past president of the Basketball Bench Warmers. He spent many years fishing and camping at Rice Lake, and vacationing on Siesta Key in Florida. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Kathryn 'Katy' Wilson in 2008. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Elizabeth and Mark Johnson, Joseph and Cathy Wilson, Timothy and Sherry Wilson, Jack and Eun Yeong Wilson and Karen and Kevin DelRio; his grandchildren, Seth Johnson, Jonathan DelRio, Andrew Wilson and Kayla Ann Wilson; his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Rosalind Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 14th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Barbara Catholic Church. Fr. Thomas Cebula will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Paul Brown Football Museum, P.O.
