Gary J. Rohr

Gary J. Rohr, age 66 of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 7, 2013. He was born on July 6, 1946 in Massillon and was a lifelong area resident. Gary attended Jackson Local schools and graduated from Tuslaw High School. He was the founder and owner of the Concourse Club in Massillon, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 554 and had worked as a brick layer for many years. He was of Catholic faith. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Howard H. Rohr and his brother Howard A. Rohr. He is survived by his wife, Pam (Wertz) Rohr, whom he married on August 31, 1968, his mother Eileen Rohr, his sister Susan Rohr, his brother Stephen Rohr and his mother-in-law, Lorraine Wertz and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Ken Krotky. Funeral services will take place at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Wednesday, at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Brookfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. and on Wednesday one hour before the service. Memorials in Gary Rohr's name are suggested to the donor's favorite charity.
