Gary A Coe

Gary A. Coe, age 73 of Massillon, passed away on January 13, 2021. Gary was born on November 21, 1947 in Clio, West Virginia to Doyle and Ernestine (Drake) Coe. He enjoyed playing basketball, going fishing, bowling, and traveling back to West Virginia. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and adored his dog, K.K. Gary had a heart of gold, and would do absolutely anything for anyone. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Arlene “Becky,” brothers, Lonnie Drake, and Michael Coe, and his brother-in-law, Glenn Groff. Gary is survived by his children, Gary “Robby” (Theresa Fanti) Coe, and Stacy (Michael Wirth) Coe, grandchildren, Austin Hidey, Chelsea Coe, Bryant Coe, Katie (Cameron Handy) Wirth, Jacob Coe, and Alyssa (Steven Betz) Coe, great-grandchildren, Sophia Betz, and Amelia Handy, and sister, Carol (Sonny) Campbell. Friends and family may come to call on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Mount Eaton. Continuing with COVID-19 precautions, all attending will be asked to follow proper social distancing protocol and masks are required.
