Garnet L. (Stuck) Herron, age 86 of Massillon died Thursday, June 28, 2007 in her Massillon home. She had returned home with her family on May 16th under hospice care after an extended hospital stay. She was born in Vinton County on July 24, 1920 daughter of the late Horace and Bertha May (Wyatt) Stuck. She graduated from Richland Rural High School in 1937. Garnet worked at Perry Rubber in Massillon and retired after 25 years of service in 1985. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wayne C. Herron in 1957, daughter, Carol J. Herron, brothers, Leland Stuck and Horace Stuck Jr., grandchildren, Christina M. Herron, and Joseph Benish III. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Benish, Dorothy (Orville) DeBos, and Linda (Todd) Kester all of Massillon, sons, Jeffrey Herron, Donald (Kathy) Herron, Larry (Glenna) Herron all of Massillon and Ronald (Betty) Herron of Delroy, 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, brother, Charles (Phyllis) Stuck of Massillon, sisters, Marjory Reichel, Mildred (Dale) Rudy both of Massillon, Rose (Ray) Williams of Cleveland Tennessee, sister-in-law, Ann Stuck, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving, caring, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She will be loved and missed by her family. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 2, 2007 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 11:00 A.M. Rev. R. Langley Collins Officiating. Calling hours will be held at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Sunday from 5-8 P.M. and on Monday one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Rd.
