Gail E. Janiak

Gail E. Janiak, 71, of Massillon, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Mercy Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born in Massillon on December 9, 1942 to the late Beede "Bud" and Faye Kathleen (Lyons) Randolph. Gail enjoyed life. Her passions included camping, traveling, bingo, cooking and traveling around Amish country with her husband and her pug, Pixie. She was dedicated to her family. She had worked at Perry Rubber, Gray Drug Fair and owned and operated Gail and Getta's Pizza Shop. She is survived by her husband, Richard C. Janiak, whom she married on February 28, 1978; children, Ronald Creter Jr. of Massillon, Brigetta Marzec of Cross Hill, SC, Carol (Timothy) Sanatore of Massillon and Betsy Kiernan of Maple Heights; five grandchildren, Brandie, Amanda, Justin, Katelyn and Rachael; three great-grandchildren, Josh, Colton and Ally; three sisters, Lynn Miller, Sandy Fink and Kathy Gognat; two brothers, Bruce Randolph and Ronnie Randolph. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her two sisters, Meda White and Betty Randolph; four brothers, Donnie Randolph, Gerald "Skip" Randolph, Greg Randolph and Keith Randolph. Friends and family will gather from 6:00PM to 7:30PM on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Paquelet Funeral Home. A celebration of Gail's life will follow at 7:30PM, Kevin O'Brien, Celebrant.
