G. Renee Moore, 59, of Massillon, OH, will be remembered as a dedicated wife, exceptional daughter, caring big sister, understanding friend, and best of all, a loving, nurturing, strong, and devoted mother. She was a law abiding and diligent ambassador to the Kingdom of Heaven. Renee loved to work about. Even when battling a number of ailments she persisted to be the zealous minister, clerical worker, ‘Innovative Advertiser,’ and even the Avon lady that others may have known her as. The loved ones she leaves behind hope that she receives a lovely assignment in Heaven. Renee was born in Youngstown, Ohio August 17th, 1958 and made her transition out of this life on July 25th, 2018. She was a graduate of Massillon Washington High School, class of 1976. Renee’s personal and occupational interests brought forth a zesty appetite for initiative and venture. She started an advertisement business on her own. She touched others when she wrote grants, collected donations from area stores, and then rounded up family members to pack and home deliver ‘turkey baskets’ to families in need during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. She happily toted her kids around from door to door with the boxes of donations while crossing each family off of her referral lists just in time for them to prepare their holiday meal. Her proudest accomplishment would probably be her ministry, Beauty for Ashes, a platform that reached out to people in need and also uplifted and highlighted other women in ministry throughout the community. She was filled with vision. Born a Leo, she was full of laughter. The number of illnesses would betide throughout her latter years deserve no place, no mention, and no recognition by name in her memory, except to say that in spite of any condition she was in, she fought harder and harder to be the beautiful, highly involved, strong, and difference making woman she was destined to be. Those awaiting to greet her in heaven are her mother, Constance F. (Long) Wills; her father James Vance; Father-in-law Willie Moore; her grandparents Gladys Bush-Long, William McKinley Blackford, Jr., and Wanda Fowler; the great grandparents who parented her, Idabelle and William McKinley Blackford, Sr.; two of her dearest aunts Clara Norris, Jeanette Barrino, and a host of other aunts and uncles; two brothers-in-law, Larry and Jerome Moore; and other loved ones passed. Sad to say goodbye to Renee yet delighted in her memory are her husband of 35 years, Willie L. Moore; son, Derrick McHenry, and daughter, Shanel Moore of Los Angeles; grandchildren, Malayah, Zion, and Aubrielle; brothers, Michael Long, Chris Vance both of Atlanta; sisters, Trina Tyson, Tera and Taylor Vance; brothers-in-law, Perry and Meredith Moore; sisters-in-law, Debra, Judy, and Cora Moore; two great aunts, Pearl Lee Compton, and Doris B. Watkins of D.C.; uncles, Ray Long, Billie and Kevin Blackford of NY, James H. Blackford of NJ, Ollie and Jimie Fowler; aunts, Elaine Green of GA, Patsy Chester, Dorothy Turner, and Mary Fowler; also a very dear loved one of the family, Sharon Faulkner; among a great host of others; nieces and nephews; cousins; and other great friends throughout life and ministry.
