Frederick Shilling

Frederick ‘Dude’ Shilling, age 86 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. He was born on August 10, 1921 in Massillon to the late Frederick and Mabel Shilling. Frederick was a longtime farmer until he began working at Volvo – GM in Orville for 33 years and retiring in 1987. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Maurice Shilling and his sisters, Alma Buchs and Helen Klever. He is survived by his best friend Cullen (Shirley) Maxhimer of Massillon and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
