Frederick D. "Fritz" Keen

Frederick D. "Fritz" Keen, 86, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014, following an extended illness. He was born in Massillon to the late Fred H. and Julia (Crookston) Keen. Fritz retired from Fleming Foods in 1986 and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and formerly St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was involved with the Canton Civic Opera Chorus and sang in the Church choirs. Fritz is survived by his wife of 66 years, Gloria J. (Shade) Keen; their daughters, Pamela S. (Dale DeHoff) Iceman, Leslie A. (Greg) Greenfelder and Christine M. (Jack) Marshall; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by his, son, Frederick W. Keen; two sisters, Winifred Smith and Julia Linhart; and a brother, Allen Keen.
