Freda M. Maynard

Freda M. Maynard, age 78, of Massillon passed away March 30, 2007 at Affinity Medical Center Doctor’s Campus. She was born in Ramage, W.VA on January 31, 1929 to the late Kelly & Callie Blankenship. Freda married the love of her life, Charles Maynard with whom she had 3 loving children. Freda loved being a stay at home mom and watching her children grow. Freda loved to watch cooking shows & read her bible. She loved to watch the birds & season’s change. Freda loved to have her 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren & 3 great-great grandchildren visit her at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Emmet & Dennis Blankenship and a sister, Thelma Muncy. Survived by a daughter and two sons; Charlotte & (Clifford Kastning) Maynard of New York, Roger & (Lori Smith) Maynard of Quaker City, OH and Charles & Bev Maynard of Massillon; brother and two sisters, Leo Blankenship of W.VA, Lillian Hurley of W.VA and Betty Crabtree of W.VA; grandchildren, Jessy, Charles Jr., Ryan Maynard, Tammy Munson, Tina Masarik, Richard, and Ashley; great grandchildren, Korina, Marisa, Rachael, Desmond, Damien, Devon & Mikey; great-great grandchildren, Alexa, Adan & one soon to be born. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Friends may call from 12 to 1 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Brookfield Cemetery.
