Freda John

Freda John, 85 of Canton, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Freda was born on October 6, 1929 in Massillon, the daughter of Alex and Evelyn (Dale) John. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a 1947 graduate of Washington High School. Freda worked for many years at Perry Rubber Co. She was a charter member of Anchor Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters; Elizabeth Miller, Mary Ann Younker, and Margaret Ryder; and her brother Halit John. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn (Charles) Flounders, her brother, Victor John; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Freda's life will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Dr. Mark Jacobs will be officiating.
