Franklin Leroy Easterly, Jr.

Franklin L. Easterly, Jr., 78, passed away on April 12, 2017 He was born on April 23, 1938 in Massillon to the late Franklin and Blanche M. (Edie) Easterly. Franklin was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. He was a retiree of Crown Cork and Seal. A dedicated family man, he loved to spend time with his kids and grandchildren. He enjoyed Sudoku Puzzles and family social gatherings. He is survived by his wife, Cora Sue (Lance) Easterly, whom he married on January 11, 1958; their children, Patty Freund of Buckeye, AZ, Mary Sue Stowe of Panama City, FL, Debbie (Syl) Drobney of Massillon, Dianne Wallace of Madison, MS, David (Becky) Easterly of Medina and Donald (Danielle) Easterly of Copley; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a sister, Alyce Ripple of Massillon. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Easterly. Friends may gather at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 6:00pm -8:00pm with a funeral service to be held at 8:00pm, Rev. Lee Peters, officiating.
