Frank Wurzbacher, 103, passed away on October 7th at Mercy Medical Center. Frank was born in Peninsula, Ohio to his late parents Henry and Katherine (Steele) Wurzbacher. Frank moved from Peninsula to Akron, before settling in Massillon during his teen years, where he spent the rest of his life. He worked for nearly 40 years at Tyson Roller Bearing as a grinder until his retirement in 1980. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed traveling, playing golf, and was always ready for a card game. Frank married Kay (Bowman/Smith) in 1962 and was blissfully happy until her death in 1973. He then married Maxine (Poorman) in 1975 and enjoyed their retirement together until her death in 2009. Frank was also preceded in death by his parents, and 8 siblings. He is survived by his stepchildren, Pat (Dick) Wiskofske and Gary (Theresa) Smith; and many step-grandchildren, nieces & nephews, who adored him. A graveside service will be held in the Chapel at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 11 a.m. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at www.paquelet.com.
